My experience with AZ Sun Services from start to finish was exactly what I’d hoped for. Before even meeting with the providers in my area I spent weeks researching and learning about solar power, solar panels, installation, and cost. I wanted to be sure I already understood what I needed and didn’t need and what I was and was not going to agree to. All I needed was to speak with a solar professional to make sure I knew what I was going to do would be mostly right. I then decided that I would not agree to anything until I’d met with at least 5 providers. 3 of the 5 reps I met with really turned on me when I told them I was not even going to consider their offers until I’d heard from 5 providers. The 3rd provider I met with was Matt Nam, my AZ Sun Services sales rep. He was not pushy or overly aggressive. We had a short and simple conversation about my options, the cost, and what he recommended. I also met with 4 other providers and from the greeting to the moment they left I felt like they were just trying to force me into the sale. They “argued” every doubt/question I brought up or “tried” to make me feel stupid for asking what I’d asked or doubting what they’d promised. Before we even discussed what could or could not be done, they’d ask if I met with anyone else. Then they’d spend the next 15 mins bashing every other provider that I’d mentioned. Matt did not spend most of his time bashing other services. They also made sure to imply that I’d lose any offer they made if they left without making me sign something.
Sun Valley Solar installed our solar at our 1st home so we knew when we moved that we wanted them to install it again. This time we added battery back-up and pre-wired for a future car charger. Our 2019 & 2020 monthly summer bills averaged $250 and last month (July) our bill was $90. We have an App which allows us to monitor our on-peak energy usage in real time as we learn to adjust our energy habits to maximize our savings. What’s great is that we can expand our Generac battery easily and Sun Valley designed our solar to be expandable as well. We also have our fridge, chest freezer, garage door, router and a handful of outlets and lights set up on battery back-up. This gives us additional peace of mind in an emergency situation. In my opinion, Sun Valley Solar Solutions are the experts when it comes to batteries and really designing custom systems which take into account how the homeowner actually lives and uses their energy. From our sales person to our project manager to the installers doing the work, all were very professional and courteous.

I’m very glad that I went with Tim for my solar install! Found him to be a very genuine and honest person. I had my system designed already and Tim and his crew took care of the installation in a very professional manner.
He had very reasonable prices. He even helped me with stuff like purchasing materials that were not part of the contract. There were few hiccups during the application process but got taken care of promptly.
I had a new roof and he went the extra mile in getting all the roof penetrations done in most professional way possible. Happy with all the electrical work too and confident that it’s going to last for a long time. Everything was done in a timely manner considering he has a smaller crew.

After a life threatening experience with excessive heat and no air conditioning due to a bad a/c circuit in July 2021, S/B staff and technicians responded to my emergency like true blue troopers. At least five technicians were in my home showing me the utmost kindness, courtesy, professionalism and technical knowledge and enabled me to recover from this harrowing experience. On September 22, 2021, Joe, Jose, and Patrick upgraded my 61 year old circuit breaker and added on, at my request, a surge protector, taking a solid 8 hours in a magnificent effort in providing top notch service. There are numerous other male technicians and female staff at S/B in this effort and I sincerely appreciate everyone’s concern and pride in your work. I have always used S/B in my home upgrades and will continue to do so. Kudos to all on your outstanding efforts.

From start to finish Sunny Energy took care of everything. Graham was our salesman. We had a telephone conference with him where he explained the system and the process with us. He was available throughout the process to answer questions. Sunny Energy emailed the quote that same day. We had several other companies give us estimates and explain their proposals. Sunny Energy had the best price and the best way to optimize the return of our investment. Throughout the process Sunny Energy took care of all the paperwork and permits necessary for our system. It took about 2 months from the sales meeting to installation. Two weeks after the system was up and running, Michael called and walked us through how to read and use SENSE and MY SOLAR EDGE. He sent us a copy of the Zoom session so we could review it later. We mentioned to him that we wanted the conduit in the attic or painted. They came out and did it as soon as they could. They were very pleasant about it. We decided to have it painted rather than being installed in the attic. The installers said if we changed our mind and wanted it to be put in the attic they would come back. Michael then called to check and see if we were satisfied. Last time I checked, SRP estimated that our bill would be around $185.00. Usually our summer bills are in the $300 to $400 range. Needless to say we are very happy with our decision to use Sunny Energy as our solar provider.

After getting quotes from Energysage (great service) we selected Solar Topps. Even though were 100 miles away, they showed up when they said they would. Communication with many of there staff was very good, even if some of our questions were simplistic. The install went great and a lot quicker than we thought it would. We are now generating power and are excited to see our first bill from our utility company. I have already referred both Energysage and Solar Topps to many people.

Signed the contract with Zenernet in the first week of May and still do not have a working system over 5 months later. The sales experience was positive with the salesperson being very responsive when creating my proposal. But that was the only positive experience. Since then, it has been nothing but delays, poor communication, screwups and apathy from Zenernet. In choosing Zenernet you are then dealing with two separate companies Zenernet and whatever installer they choose. The first indication was a letter I received from the installer notifying me that they could place a lien against my property if they were not paid by Zenernet. The installer, Ecobright, was also located > 300 miles away from my home, so everything took a long time to schedule. The inspection took weeks to get scheduled after the install. On the first attempt the inspection failed due to incorrect electrical work. The 2nd inspection was scheduled for two weeks later. The inspector showed up, but the installer was nowhere to be found. On the third attempt the inspection failed yet again because the plans were wrong. That was ~2 weeks ago, and the 4th attempt has yet to be scheduled. It behooves me why a company that is in the Solar business can’t seem to get things right.
