We offer a 10 year craftsmanship warranty and a 20-25 year warranty on most of our products. That warranty may be backed up by a 3rd party insurer depending on the product.
This experience was smooth from start to finish. They condusted themselves as professionals, something that is so frequently lacking today. They have the technical side down but they also have the business and administrative sides down pat as well.
Contacted them in 2014 to install a 15kw Sunpower SPR X21-335 black (45 panels) with 3 SMA SB5000TL-US-22 inverters. System looks great on the front of my house and provides all our energy needs for 10 out of 12 months of the year. Design was well thought out and documented. Installation was top notch. They were a little slow getting to my house to get the installation started, but they were clearly overwhelmed with the demand for residential solar systems at the time due to the State of CT Energize program. I would use them again.

L.I.P.S. warrants, for a period of twenty five(25) years from the Installation Completion Date, that the System (exclusive of the Equipment/parts) shall have been designed, engineered and installed in a good and workman like manner, in accordance with Applicable Law and Industry Standards. L.I.P.S. will provide free service calls for twenty five (25) years from the date of this Agreement, as needed, exclusive of Equipment/parts. Equipment/parts warranties are provided by the equipment manufacturer.

Everything about my experience with Nickels Energy Solutions was great. They clearly explained the whole process before getting started and kept me informed as the project progressed.
