The last review from EnergySage:

My husband Robert and I began our conversion to solar energy with cautious optimism and anticipation. The autumn presentation by John Vann and his wife at BSU’s architecture building felt dangerous—like we just might do it! We signed up to be contacted by Jefferson Electric LLC. They did a preliminary assessment by satellite, and another on site. These showed that we could replace 87% of the energy in our totally electric home.
Once we knew our roof had the proper exposure, there was an inspection of our shingles (They shouldn’t be over ten years old). Then we were a “GO!” We needed help going quickly because one of the tax exemptions was going to expire on December 31, 2019. Jefferson Electric LLC lined everything up. The whole installation was completed in one day.
Our meter switched to solar on the last day of 2019 at 4:39 pm. They did quick work even around the holidays, and our grandkids got to see the company’s final inspection using a drone. They even told us how to make sure our homeowners’ insurance was beefed up. Jefferson Electric LLC made it easy. We were so happy to have the experience of doing the right thing together.
It is summer now, so we are getting a lot of sun. Our electric bill (water pump, air conditioning, plus all cooking and lighting) is the cost of renting the meter.
My husband and I wholly recommend Jefferson Electric LLC. They will walk you through the learning curve for the conversion. Don’t get discouraged if your house doesn’t get enough sun. We have neighbors across the street who have built a storage shed with the roof leaning south.

PS: Few facts.
-On a sunny day the Photovoltaic system generates more electricity than we need to run the house so the extra production is stored on the utility grid. If it is not used, we are fortunate in this area to have a power company that will purchase the remainder at 100%. The electricity saved by the utility company is available to use during the night or on cloudy days when “the roof” is not producing energy.
-The whole installation will pay for itself in about 12 years and we will have another 12 years or so of FREE energy.
-We are very proud of running our house with “Zero pollution/Zero Emission” energy.
